Wildflowers on a Summer Morning 1
On a cold July morning, wildflowers fill Butler Gulch near Berthoud Pass as the sun peeks over the distant mountain. The hike up to this meadow is only about 2.5 miles, but it does gain nearly 1200’ - most of it at the very end of the trail. In late summer, the colors can fill this area, turning it into a palette of beautiful reds, blues, golds, and all shades between. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
