Old Barn, Rocky Mountain National Park 6
Rocky Mountain National Park
This old barn on the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park just a few miles from Grand Lake, Colorado, was once part of an old homestead. Now, it is on the National Register of Historic Places. Bob and Betty Dick lived in this area and ran things in the shadow of the Never Summer Mountains. After Betty’s passing in 2006, the park service took over the maintenance of this historic homestead. It rests just off Trail Ridge Road, but few visitors notice it - or even know it is here. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
