Little Buckaroo Barn, Rocky Mountain National Park 3
Rocky Mountain National Park
As the low clouds begin to glow with the sun’s fading light, this historic buiding remains in the shadow of the Never Summer Mountain Range as it has for nearly a hundred years. In the earlly 1900s, farmers and ranchers homesteaded this area in what is now located in Rocky Mountain National Park. The last inhabitant, Betty Dick, passed away in 2006, and the area was turned over to the care of the RMNP officials. Now, this old barn is part of the National Register of Historic Places. It is located on the Grand Lake (west) side of Rocky Mountain National Park in the Kawuneeche Valley. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
