Comet NEOWISE from the Continental Divide 1
Continental Divide - Berthoud Pass
Once every 6,800 years, the comet NEOWISE roars around the sun, passes, by earth, and heads out into deep space before gravity slowly pulls irt back. This image was taken with a 400mm lens and blended with an image of the foreground high atop Berthoud Pass on a cold summer morning about 45 minutes before sunrise. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
