Colorado Wildflower Panorama 1
From one of my favorite locations to shoot Colorado wildflowers, this panorama comes from Butler Gulch - just over Berthoud Pass from Winter Park. It is a steep 2 mile hike to reach this meadow, but in the later summer when all the varieties and colors of flowers are blooming, the grunt to trek up here is worth it. On this evening, the winds were unusually calm, the flowers colorful and vibrant, and the world seemingly at peace.
