Bluebells and the Maroon Bells 1
Maroon Bells Wilderness
From the shores of Crater Lake, these bluebells - some of Colorado’s most delicate and beautiful wildflowers - grow in the shadow of the state’s most famous 14,000’ foot peaks. North Maroon and Maroon Peak loom in the distance. From the rocky slopes, a waterfall plunges a thousand feet to the valley below. It was a beautiful evening the the Maroon Bells Wilderness near Aspen, Colorado. Photo © copyright by Rob Greebon.
